NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Well, it’s raining out in Moes. I guess this means I have to come back. ;D Hanging with the family today!

In moes valley!!!

Sceptro (v6) is going down tomorrow son!

Success! That’s one word to describe today’s trail day out at the second pullout in Red Rock. We have no blocked off the trails (that weren’t actually trails, just the remains of people that decided it was okay to cut trails) with railing. I don’t think I’ve worked that hard in a long time!

After that, I went down to the gym and worked endurance as well as abs. I’m so tired, it’s gonna be a rough day tomorrow for sure.

Trail day tomorrow! The Las Vegas Climbers Liaison Council will be rebuilding trails and doing other maintenence out at the second pullout of the loop in Red Rock. Come out if you’re in the area!

Finally, Sunday I’m hopping on Geometric Progression; 5.12b. So excited, this climb has the best 3 finger pocket. Stoked!!!

Joshua Tree, October 2011.
I can’t wait to get back there. The feeling is just awesome, basically camping at the crag, 5 minute approach to 100+ climbs.

Two 12a’s in one week, whaaaat? I sent Angled Dangler today, out in Sandstone Quarry. Definitely a great route, I was super sketched at the top. But managed to pull it off on the second go, using the first to figure out the moves.

So stoked to finally be back on a rope, now I’ve just gotta get the momentum for Monster Skank (5.13b), it’s definitely going to be a project. But a route with two monopockets back to back, and a dyno at the end? I think I’ll definitely work towards it.

Bishop!

Guess who’s going to Bishop next month! I’ll give you a hint, it’s me.

This will be my first experience with the buttermilks. I’m so stoked!

Maneater

First 5.12a! It was so sick, I had hit up maneater probably 30 times at the beginning of the season but could never get syked enough for the crux move. I went today, after a season of bouldering, and first try hit it like it was nothing. So stoked, next on the project list is fear and loathing (5.12a) then a season living in the back of my van in Mt. Charleston, for some granite. Yeah son!

Big plans for this weekend!

I’m planning to: Flash a V7 and Send a 5.12a.

Bad news is, I’ve been bouldering so much I lost my harness. Good news, I’ve got three hours to look.

Off to the gym for some more endurance training.

This rain sucks! I was gonna go attempt to flash Caliman today, but no mother nature had something to say about that!

Oh well, off to the gym for like the third time this week!
